Put on a “Mask” on the house!
A unique house can still be treated calmly in the harsh environment of – 55 ℃, which is impressive.
Coincidentally, in the outskirts of Yakutsk, Russia, about 40 kilometers, there is also a special house called house under a dome, which means “house under the dome”. It looks like wearing a layer of “Mask” outside the original house.
Of course, this is not a real mask, but a hemispherical PVC dome.
The steel pipe is used to assemble a frame with a radius of about 10 meters. Then, use a crane to lift it, cover the house and fix it to the ground.
Finally, the plastic film is used to cover the upper part, the top part is opaque and the bottom part is transparent.
The house is an ordinary wooden structure with an area of about 128 square meters.
A family of three live in it, with bedroom, living room and kitchen.
At the same time, there are two garages and a large terrace.
In addition, there are solar power generation and wind monitoring facilities.
But, these are not important drop, its biggest bright spot is warmer than the general house.
According to statistics, when the temperature outside is minus 50 ℃, the temperature inside the dome is only 30 ℃, a full increase of 20 ℃.
You know it’s very cold in Yakutsk. The lowest temperature was 60 degrees below zero. With such a design, people’s living conditions here can be greatly improved.
At present, it is still in the testing stage. Since December 2019, more than three months have passed, and the measured data are very ideal.
